I was Feeling Rage

It was a hot day. I saw uncertainty in Daisy's eyes, but I was confident. It was time to tell Tom that Daisy is mine and has been mine all along. We all in an oven of a hotel room, all the windows were open and everyone had some sort of cold object to cool them off. Despite the blazing weather, I was ready. Not only was the weather hot, our conversation with Tom got heated pretty quick as well. He started attacking my background, my identity, and my ethics. I was trying to keep it cool, but Daisy was getting more nervous as time went on. Suddenly, Tom got close to me. I don't remember what he said exactly, but a rush of rage flooded my body, and I went in on him. I screamed at the top of my lungs for him to shut his dirty friking mouth. I knew I messed up. My heart sank. I looked up and Daisy was really upset. I tried talking to her, but she wouldn't listen to me. She was escaping from me, our future together was fading away. We decided to drive back to calm the nerves...

  1. You're correct Jay Gatsby, you did mess up. Daisy rejected you years ago because you a worthless nothing who didn't have a dollar to your name compared to me. You're not the only one who was feeling rage that day Gatsby. I found out that after years of faithfulness and loyalty to my wife, I find out she leaves me in a heartbeat once her "true love" shows back up in her life. I provided Daisy with a life of luxury and glamour that you could never begin to provide for her. I showed Daisy nothing but love but once you show up that all seems to mean nothing to her. You will pay for this Gatsby. Mark my words.
