Why I met my Neighbor
Ever since Nick moved in, I had been keeping a close eye on him. I knew that I needed to become close to him if I wanted to have a chance at ever talking to Daisy. You see, getting info in this city is easy for me, and I figured out who Nick was. He was Daisy's cousin, so I knew that he could help me on my quest to get Daisy back. I invited Nick to one of my parties, because I was certain he would show up, and I was able to have a nice conversation with him. After that, befriending him was easy, and I was slowly gaining his trust until I could finally ask him for a favor. Surprisingly, he came forward first and said he would set up a meetup for me and Daisy. From that day, I started thinking of the old sport as more of a friend, rather than a tool that I was using to get Daisy back. Nick was something else really, he was always there for me.
So, you used me? I can’t believe you Gatsby…. I really thought more of you. I expected more honestly. Like I would’ve never done that to you. I mean I can understand it was for the love of your life, but you could’ve been honest with me from the beginning, so I would’ve known your intentions. I probably would’ve agreed to it anyway. Gatsby you’re a cool guy and I’m glad about the time we did spend together as friends I’m just bummed that I found out that that was how our friendship started. I knew many people weren’t trustworthy here in New York, but I never expected it to be you Gatsby. At least I did what I did for you because I did want you to get back together with daisy, but I’ve honestly lost a lot of trust in you Gatsby and I definitely do look at you a little different now.
